How do we make the products?

We have a specialist team of highly skilled designers. The main influence for our designs is ‘natural beauty with an edge’, embracing unusual, colourful elegance. For our boutique customers’ special enquiries, we are happy to tailor our design specifically to your individual requirements.

Our private tailors in Richmond and St. Margarets work carefully and diligently to ensure our high standards continue to be met. Quality is of the utmost importance so we are always sure to check that the quality of the cutting, sewing and matching lives up to our high expectations.

How does it work?

What is it made from?

We predominantly design boutique clothing and accessories. All the garments labelled with the ‘Spirit of Phoenix’ brand name are handmade, hand dyed with organic colours (from herbs and minerals), hand beaded, hand sewn and hand painted or printed. Each item usually takes 4-6 weeks to complete. All the elements for pieces are sourced, and the final product made ethically.

If the product is labelled by ‘Bamboo Silk’, it may be machine made.

At ‘Pure’, London, we also showcase our organic clothing and bedding range which is made from 100% pure organic silk and cotton with organic colours. All our products make wonderful gifts for those lucky enough to receive them.

How to wash and care for our products?

The most easy, cheap and safe way to wash and take care of your product is:

• Leave your silk garments in cold water with half a teaspoon of vinegar. Leave for half an hour, then wash gently by hand. If there are any marks, use a little bit of natural soap.
• Do not machine wash.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, bright lights, electric air conditioners and heaters.
• Keep the garment twisted for storage

There should be no need to iron the product. If ironing is needed, we recommend using a steamer, or a steam setting on your iron. Ensure the garment is turned inside out for ironing.
